North American Wife Carrying Championship

Grab your wife and head for Sunday River! The North American Wife Carrying Championship is this Saturday. Teams from across the United States and Canada compete head-to-head for fame, fortune, and a chance to compete at the world championships in Finland. Methods often include the piggyback or firemen's carry, but teams are encouraged to create their own style. Taisto Miettinen and Kristiina Haapanen from Finland have won the world competition 4 times. They are our guests this morning along with Darcy Morse from Sunday River.
