Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
opened last weekend here in Portland to a robust crowd and good reviews. Joseph kicks off the 82nd season for the
Portland Players. The oldest non-profit
community theater in Maine. In this adaptation
of the biblical story of Joseph, we learn how Joseph is betrayed by his jealous
brothers, sold into slavery and driven to Egypt. There's still time to catch a
performance. Director Michael Donovan
and Producer Tracy Armitage are here to talk about the production, and two of
the actors perform a song.
