Maine Law to Require Coaches Undergo Training

Junior Seau's tragic post- concussion suicide, the state of Maine has enacted a new law, which requires all high school athletic directors, coaches and staff to undergo new training.  The training will allow them to better spot concussions in student athletes.  The law will also require written consent from parents acknowledging the fact that student athletes suspected of head injury will not be able to return to the field until they're inspected by a doctor.
