Ann LePage and Barbara Bush Announce Literacy Grants

5/25/12: Thousands of dollars of grants will be awarded to help support parents and children by encouraging them to make reading and writing a family activity. Since 1996, more than 4 million dollars in family literacy grants have been handed out through the Barbara Bush Foundation's Maine Family Literacy Initiative. Today's announcement will be at the University of New England at 10:30. Maine's First Lady Ann LePage will join former First Lady Barbara Bush at that event.
