Steel Magnolias Play

It originally started as a staged off-Broadway play in 1987, and claimed popularity when it hit the big screen in 1989. The story of Steel Magnolias follows female characters that can be as delicate as magnolias, but are as tough as steel. Joining us with their rendition of the play at the Schoolhouse Arts Center in Standish is Terri Plummer and Mike Hjort.
