Grant Helps Laid Off Workers

The U.S. Department of Labor is giving Maine a grant to help 60 people who lost their jobs with Associated Grocers.

The company, based in Gardiner, announced in April it's shutting down. The more than $330,000 federal grant will go toward services that help those employees find new jobs.
