Fatal Crash Victim Identified

PORTLAND - Portland police have identified the victim in the early Sunday morning fatal accident on Brighton Avenue as 18-year-old Guy Kitoko. Police say 21-year-old Yannick Mulongo was driving down Brighton Avenue when he crossed the center line and collided with another car driven by 31-year-old Fartun Aden. Kitoko, the passenger in Mulongo's car, was killed in the crash. Police say Kitoko was a senior at Deering High School. Speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash, but so far, no charges have been filed. If you think you saw what happened, please call Portland Police at 207-874-8532.
